EUROCORES - EuroGRAPHENE

Titel des Programms
Maximizing the Impact of Graphene Research in Science and Innovation (EuroGRAPHENE)

Teilnehmende Länder
Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland

Ziel
The goal of the EUROCORES Programme EuroGRAPHENE is to gain a better insight into the physical properties of graphene aiming to learn how to control them by means of chemical modification of the flakes, mechanical deformations, and geometrical manipulation of graphene sheets (such as folding, stitching, or cutting into nanoribbons), and, then, exploit in applications and functional devices.

Inhalt
Projekte sollten zu einem der folgenden Themenbereiche gehören:

  • In depth investigation of physical properties of graphene and development of methods to control its electronic properties and transport characteristics
  • Graphene synthesis from SiC, investigation of physical properties of graphene on SIC, and development of graphene-based transistor using this material
  • Development of novel graphene-based electronic devices and nanostructures
  • Implementation of graphene in hybrid devices and composite materials
