We are looking for highly motivated students to investigate with us “T cell – fibroblast interaction in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis”. T cell – fibroblast interactions are known as the major driver of synovial inflammation in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA). The project aims to understand the effects of synovial fibroblasts on T cell development and ultimately to inhibit the development of pathogenic T cells. State of the art technologies, including tanscriptomic and epigenomic analysis (methylation, histone modifications) as well as advanced cell biology and cell imaging techniques will be used to understand the effects of cell - cell interactions. We also offer interactive technical training and supervision to support these research activities.


This project is conducted in close collaboration with the CEMM and international collaboration partners
