Human Resources Strategy for Researchers

In adopting the European Charter for Researchers and the accompanying Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers in 2005, the European Commission compiled a catalogue of general principles and requirements which defines the roles, responsibilities and entitlements of researchers as well as those of employers and/or funding organizations. The FWF is committed to the Charter and has participated in the “Human Resources Strategy for Researchers” since 2011, which provides guidance in the implementation of the principles contained in the Charter, and participating institutions are awarded the “HR Excellence in Research logo”, which can be considered a seal of approval for employers of researchers and/or research funding organizations.
