HERA - Humanities in the European Research Area

Objective
HERA is a European research programme for the humanities which brings together 15 European funding agencies. The objective of the programme is to enable researchers to form networks and develop transnational cooperative research projects in order to strengthen the position of the humanities at the national and European level. At the same time, HERA aims to counteract the fragmentation of research in the humanities and to stimulate new research initiatives in these disciplines. The FWF is a full partner in the HERA programme.
