EUROHORCs

EUROHORCs (European Heads of Research Councils) is an umbrella organisation comprising representatives of national research organisations and funding agencies in Europe.

EUROHORCs is a key actor in European research (funding) policy and supports the intensification of cooperation between national funding agencies. It also serves as an advisory body to the European Commission. The purpose of EUROHORCs is to strengthen the role of national research organisations and funding agencies by providing discussion platforms, initiating joint activities and strengthening its influence on European research policy.
