Information about the results

The Project Database contains projects approved after January 1995 or that have the status 'ongoing'.

Database updates
The database is generally updated daily.

Scientific disciplines
The scientific disciplines are chosen by the applicants from Statistik Austria may be assigned to a project.

Keywords
The keywords are freely assigned by project leaders.

Institutes
If several institutes are involved in a project, these are listed.

Priority Research Programs (SFB, DK and NFN)
In the case of Special Research Programs, Doctoral Programs and National Research Networks nonly the coordinating project or the project of the 'Speaker' is included, not the individual component projects.

Abstracts
Brief descriptions are included for almost all projects approved since January 1999. This service is currently being extended.

Final reports
At present final reports are available only for 'Stand-alone Projects'. This service is currently being extended.

Project start and project end
Until the project leader informs the FWF of the starting date, the date of approval is given. The closing date is that expected by the project leader.

Projects that were approved but withdrawn before their planned start, i.e. that never began, are not listed.
