Goals
Promotion of scientific work at leading foreign research
institutions
facilitation
of access to new scientific areas, methods, procedures and techniques
so as to contribute - following return to Austria - to the further
development of science in Austria
Requirements
completed doctoral
studies
international
scientific publications
aged 34 or under at the time of application, or at most 4
years of postdoc experience, allowance is made for time spent
raising children and time that that can be shown to have been
required for receiving clinical qualifications.

Length
10 to 24 months without
return phase respectively 16 to 36 months including return phase (return
phase = 6 to 12 months)
Level
Fellowship abroad: EUR
29.600 bis EUR 36.000 per year, tax free, the amount depends on the
destination; for the return phase: contract of employment with Senior-Postdoc
salary + EUR 8.000,- p.a.
