The Center for Innovation Systems and Policy is looking for new Ingenious Partner for our location in Vienna. Our Center for Innovation Systems and Policy addresses current and future requirements for research and innovation systems, as well as the courses of action that arise from these for research, technology, and innovation policy and their stakeholders. We focus on the one hand on the control of system transformation ("transitions") in areas such as energy, mobility, food, and urban development, and, on the other hand on potentially disruptive technologies and their possible impacts, particularly in connection with digitalization.

The Competence Unit Innovation & Industrial Dynamics focuses on characterising and explaining the dynamics of innovation and industry. The Competence Unit’s strongly empirical focus covers the collection and processing of large quantities of data, such as R&D projects, patents and publications, as well as the modeling of relationships within innovation systems, such as the influence of innovation on the socio-economic development of companies, regions, or countries.
