FWF co-financed FAIRware Initiative cooperates with the Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research
Publishing Date:
Since 2019, the FWF has been a member of the Research on Research Institute (RORI), an international consortium of research funders, academic institutions, and technologists working to champion transformative and translational research on research.
Within the framework of the RORI FAIRware project, the Stanford Center for Biomedical Informatics Research was selected from a pool of twenty organisations in an open call to devise innovative, novel means of increasing adoption of FAIR principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, Reusability). In addition to the FWF, FAIRware is financed by Wellcome, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR, UK), and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF). The project kicks off in May 2021 with the aim of delivering a beta version of the FAIRware tool by August 2022. You can keep up to date with the project’s progress by heading to the project's website.
