In the course of the research funding network EJP RD the call for joint transnational proposals has been published on December 18th 2020 bearing the title “Social sciences and Humanities Research to improve health care implementation and everyday life of people living with a rare disease”
It is the aim of EJP RD to support new transnational co-operations. The individual national (sub-) projects of the consortia are funded by the respective national funding organisations.
Each consortium submitting a proposal must be comprised of a minimum of three research groups eligible for funding by participating organisations. The research groups must be from at least three different countries. The total number of research groups in a consortium is limited to six (or seven or eight, please refer to the detailed information). One common document must be submitted to the Joint Call Secretariat by one spokesperson, the co-ordinator (for details, please refer to the Call Text).
In addition to the application at the call secretariat, preproposals must also be registered online to the FWF at https://elane.fwf.ac.at via the programme category “IK – International Projects (preproposal)”. Deadline for submission is 16 February 2021.
For submissions to be valid, the cover sheet generated at the end of the online submission process must be printed out and signed. It can then either be sent to the FWF by conventional mail (FWF, Sensengasse 1, 1090 Vienna) or scanned in, given a digital signature and sent to the FWF (office(at)fwf.ac.at) as an e-mail attachment.
The call is implemented as a 2-steps procedure:
