ERA PERMED Joint Translational Call for Proposals (2022)

2021-12-01 / 00:00 CET
2022-02-17 / 17:00 CET

Short Description

As part of the ERA PerMed research funding network, the fifth call for joint transnational proposals will be published on 1 December 2021 under the title “Prevention in Personalised Medicine”

The aim is to support new transnational cooperation. The individual national (sub-)projects of the consortia are funded by the respective national funding organisations.

Each consortium submitting a proposal must be comprised of a minimum of three research groups eligible for funding by participating organisations. The research groups must be from at least three different countries. The total number of research groups in a consortium is limited to six. One common document must be submitted to the Joint Call Secretariat https://ptoutline.eu/app/erapermed2022 by one spokesperson, the coordinator. For details, please refer to the Call Text (pdf, 767KB).

In addition to the application to the Call Secretariat, pre-proposals must also be submitted online to the FWF at https://elane.fwf.ac.at via the programme category “IK – International Projects (preproposal)”. The deadline for submission is 17 February 2022. For the full-proposal stage, applicants must choose the programme category “I – International Projects”. The deadline for full-proposal submission is 14 June 2022. Both steps are mandatory.

For submissions to be valid, the cover sheet generated at the end of the online submission process must be printed out and signed. It can then either be sent to the FWF by conventional mail (FWF, Sensengasse 1, 1090 Vienna) or scanned, digitally signed, and sent to the FWF (office(at)fwf.ac.at) as an e-mail attachment.

Please note that the deadline refers to the receipt (or postmark) of the signed cover sheet and not the completion of the elane submission!

The call is implemented as a 2-step procedure:
Submission deadline (pre-proposals): 17 February 2022
Submission deadline (full-proposals): 14 June 2022
Decision (full-proposals): October 2022
