We are looking for a self-driven and highly motivated master student with great interest in cancer biology and immunology. The position will be available in the research group of Dagmar Stoiber-Sakaguchi at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Cancer Research in Vienna.
Our group makes use of mouse models to study molecular mechanisms underlying tumor development. We have been working on different cancer types including leukemia and lymphoma. The current project is focussed on understanding the role of STAT3 isoforms in human acute myeloid leukemia cell lines.
Applicants should hold a bachelor´s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or a related discipline. As English is the working language, excellent written and oral communication skills are required, as well as high accuracy, reliability and very good interpersonal skills.
The position is available from October/November 2018. Probable duration is one year. Applicants should provide: A cover letter, curriculum vitae, names and contact details of 2 referees.
