The Competence Center Dental Materials at the University Clinic of Dentistry is offering a master thesis position on the topic "Effects of Graphene on 3D Printing Materials for Dental Applications". The project is funded by the Medical-Scientific Fund of the Mayor of Vienna, coordinated by Ao. Univ. Prof. DDr. Andreas Schedle and Dr. Klara Janjić.
Within the project we will assess if graphene composites are suitable for 3D printing of bite splints and dental crowns. The master student will have the opportunity to learn a variety of methods, including cell culture, 3D printing, cytotoxicity testing, molecular biological methods and more.
We are looking for a motivated student with a background in molecular biology or dentistry, starting in October 2020.
