We are looking for a highly motivated Research Technical Assistant to join our lab and participate our studies on the interplay of the immune and cardiovascular system. We are an international research team of molecular biologists and medical doctors. We utilize several techniques in our projects, such as flow cytometry, RNA-sequencing, immunohistochemistry, microscopy and cell culture. In addition, our lab has great expertise in conducting in vivo studies by employing transgenic mice. This offers the great opportunity to learn and apply many different experimental approaches and contribute to the dissection of the molecular machinery that drives inflammation in cardiovascular disease, which is the main cause of death globally.

The successful applicant should have at least a graduation degree of a chemical polytechnic school or a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences/ biochemistry/bioengineering or related fields, a very good level or written and spoken English. excellent computer skills and previous experience in a laboratory. Experience in animal research is an advantage. The successful applicant will collaborate with different members of the group in various projects, and will contribute to the general organization of the lab.
• a full-time position of 40 hours ( €30.940 gross per year) for 2 years with a possibility of prolongation (candidates seeking a part-time job will be also considered)
