**Eligibility
We invite applications from individuals who hold a Master's or BSc.Hon (equals to 4 year regluar study time) degree from an accredited university. Relevant research experience is highly advantageous and will enhance your candidacy in the selection process. We seek candidates who demonstrate a genuine passion for the specific research area, a commitment to scientific inquiry, and the ability to tackle complex challenges. Proficiency in English at a minimum C1 level is essential for effective communication within our diverse research environment, and applicants will be required to provide proof of their English proficiency upon admission.
** Funding and benefits
As a PhD student, you will be fully integrated into our dynamic research team and employed by the university. Your initial contract will be for one year, with the option to extend it for the duration of your training, typically three to four years. Your salary will be competitive, aligned with the Austrian collective agreement for university employees and researchers or based on the FWF salary agreement. All employees are entitled to comprehensive social health insurance and participate in the public pension scheme, ensuring your future is secure.
