MASTER THESIS "ENHANCING EXPERIENCE IN CHATBOT DESIGN THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) INTEGRATION"

Currently, as part of an AIT innovation project, we are engaged in the research and development of a novel approach for AI-based Chatbot – Hereby we are committed to create and develop an innovative user-centred solution.

Throughout this master thesis project, you will intensively deal with the topic of AI & Data Science and the experience design of interactions with the chatbot.

You will focus on conducting a survey about the future usage of the system, strong communication and exchange with the technical part and validation approaches of the AI results.

For the project, you will work together with a 2nd master student in the field of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and together you will develop the chatbot of the future.

The main goal of this master thesis is to develop a novel approach for internal usage of a Chatbot system.

Relevant here is the consideration of legal and ethical issues as well as considerations for improving the interaction between people and users.

A central goal is also to validate the quality of the results and to develop solutions for improvement.

Under the guidance of our team, you will set up a study plan, conduct the survey, analyse the results and work with the technical team to improve AI-based data (e.g., validation & classification of results).

You will broaden your knowledge and skills in the field of AI and User-Centred Design for Chatbots.

You will train in scientific work and have the opportunity to discuss your experiences with scientific interdisciplinary experts from the UX, Human-Computer Interaction and AI fields

 

Your qualifications as an Ingenious Partner:

Ongoing master's studies in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Multimedia, or similar fields.

Good knowledge in conducting and analyzing quantitative user studies and data science topics.

Development skills for learning models and knowledge for AI applications are highly welcome.

You are excited about application-oriented challenges in AI approaches.

Interest in the creation of scientific studies

High level of commitment and ability to work in a team

Good language skills in German or English (written & spoken)

 

What to expect:

Duration of the master’s thesis project: 6 months

Start date: ideally January 2024 – However there is some flexibility concerning the start-date

EUR 890,-- gross per month for 20 hours/week based on the collective agreement, for a period of 6 months. There will be additional company benefits.
