About the Program:

The MCCA PhD Program (https://www.kl.ac.at/en/university/scientific-organisational-units/allergology-immunology), (https://www.phd-mcca.at/) is organized by scientists from the Medical University of Vienna (MUV), Vienna; the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU), Vienna; the Karl Landsteiner University (KL), Krems; and the University Clinic St. Pölten, St. Pölten; and receives its funding from the Federal Government of Lower Austria and the Medical University of Vienna. MCCA’s Faculty Members are internationally renowned experts in their fields and have strong and active ties to the world-wide research community. You will be able to benefit from that background. In addition, you will also be able to take advantage of face-to-face contacts with international speakers hosted by the MCCA lecturing program, the MCCA symposia and the MCCA retreats. These possibilities together with the opportunity to visit on a regular basis also international scientific meetings and conferences will guarantee that you can build-up and grow your own scientific career.

Requirements:

MSc, MD, Diploma or an equivalent degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Chemistry or related sciences

Excellent English language skills and the ambition to work hard in a dynamic international program
