Post-doc Researcher (f/m/d)
CEU’s Department of Philosophy is announcing a one-year postdoctoral fellowship (part-time, 70%) within the FWF-DFG project MODREQUAM (“Modal Reasoning, Quarc and Metaphysics”), which concerns applications of non-classical logics to the analysis of modal reasoning and quantification.

Duties and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work in collaboration with the P.I. of the Austrian side of the project, Dr. Matteo Pascucci.
They are expected to write research articles related to the topics of the project, contribute to the organization of events planned within the project and take part in international conferences to present project outcomes.
Qualifications
-PhD in Philosophy or other areas relevant to the project (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Linguistics) in hand by the start of the fellowship
-Research background in logic (in particular, modal logic), semantics or philosophy of language
-Residence in Vienna for the duration of the fellowship
-Demonstrated ability to work in an independent way
What to CEU offers
The selected applicant will be offered a one-year contract for 28h/week with a monthly gross salary of 3,326.61 EUR (based on FWF salary rates).
