PostDoc position: in the area of biocatalytic synthesis – green chemistry

The project focuses on the design and development of biocatalytic cascades for the sustainable bioproduction of industrially relevant targets. Optimization of the process by different engineering strategies including enzyme- and reaction engineering in order to increase the overall efficiency of the biocatalytic process will be also part of the project.

Ideally, you have completed a Ph.D./doctoral programme for a recognized University in
Biotechnology/Chemistry/Biochemistry or related fields. We are particularly interested in candidates with the following skills and experience:
· Biocatalysis
· Instrumental analytics (HPLC, GC, NMR, MS etc.)
· Molecular biology
· Biochemistry
· Organic synthesis
· Interest in conducting a research project independently
· Enjoy the work in an international, interdisciplinary environment
That’s what you should know:
· The annual gross salary is EUR 69.060.
· This corresponds to a monthly net amount of EUR 3.170,47 (paid 14 times a year).
· Starting date: between September 2025 and November 2025
