The Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences (KL) is part of an academic and research community located at the Campus Krems, and includes a network of teaching hospitals in St. Pölten, Krems, Tulln and Eggenburg. The university offers degree programs in Human Medicine and Psychology which are tailored to the requirements of the Bologna model, opening the door to new, cutting-edge health professions. The Division of Nutritional Sciences performs cutting-edge research on the modulatory effects of diet on health and disease, aiming to improve the quality of life of patients. We are combining fundamental and translational research efforts to find alternative therapies using preclinical models and clinical trials, elucidating novel immune mechanisms associated with nutritional compounds and the microbiome.

YOUR TASKS

* To conduct in-vitro and in-vivo laboratory experiments

* To analyse the results and preparing reports

* To support research projects

YOUR PROFILE

* Relevant training in biomedical sciences or comparable (BMA/FH/BSc/MSc)

* Experience with cell cultures, immunological methods (ELISA, FACS), microscopy and molecular biological methods

* Enjoy learning and establishing new methods

* Good knowledge of English

* Willingness to supervise and support students in their experimental work

* Reliable and independent working style

* Friendly, open demeanor and ability to work in a team
