The Division of Cell Biology investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying tissue formation and regeneration. Preclinical in vitro and in vivo models are employed to analyze the genetic regulation of stem cells within the musculoskeletal system. The overarching goal is to translate these findings into novel therapeutic approaches for the long-term treatment of degenerative disorders of the locomotory system.

YOUR TASKS

Conduct in-vitro and in-vivo laboratory experiments

Analyze the results and prepare reports

Support research projects

Taking on tasks related to lab management

YOUR PROFILE

Relevant training in biomedical sciences or comparable (BMA/FH/BSc/MSc)

Experience with culture of mammalian cells, histology, immunohistology, flow cytometry, microscopy and molecular biological methods

Experience in animal experimentation, particularly with mice

Enjoy learning and establishing new methods

Good knowledge of English

Willingness to supervise and support students in their experimental work

Reliable and independent working style

Friendly, open attitude and strong ability to work in a team
