Are you the principal investigator of an FWF-funded project or do you support principal investigators in the operational implementation of their projects, either in project administration or by providing research support services? Your research proposal has already been approved by the FWF and you’re planning your next steps? If so, the FWF webinar "Operational Project Implementation" is a practical starting point in the successful implementation of your FWF project (for programs in PROFI mode), from the grant agreement all the way through to the final administrative steps needed to complete your project.

Structure and content

This webinar covers all the necessary operational steps starting with the grant agreement and the actual start of the project, possible project changes, through to the administrative process of wrapping up your project at the end of your funding period. Based on the most common dos and don'ts, we’ll be talking about key aspects of handling and accounting for your research funds. The webinar also gives you the opportunity to ask individual questions about the administration of your PROFI project. We’ll also be introducing you to additional support options and services offered by the FWF.

Please note that this webinar does not provide general information or instructions on applying to the FWF for funding. Are you interested in the FWF in general, its programs, and what it has to offer? Then we recommend the FWF webinar "The FWF and its Funding Opportunities." An FWF coaching workshop is also available to help prepare you for the actual application process. This practice-oriented workshop uses real-life funding applications to guide you through the entire procedure. Please see our FWF calendar for an overview of all current events. You can also sign up for the FWF Calendar Newsletter to receive weekly announcements about FWF events, calls for proposals, and scientific events held by external organizations. The FWF staff is also happy to answer any specific questions you may have about individual FWF programs.
