Medizinisch-technische*r Assistent*in for a Full-time, permanent position
Job Duties:
Technical support in the experimental processing of molecular genetic, protein biochemical, metabolic, cell biological and immunological questions
Processing of medical sample material from the clinic
General laboratory management, resource overview and ordering system
Technical responsibility for the operation and maintenance of large-scale research equipment
Maintenance of computerized material and protocol databases of the working group
Participation in the documentation and reporting of e.g. genetic engineering work
Quality assurance documentation
Instruction and training of new working group members
Your Qualifications:
Completed education as a medical-technical assistant, biomedical analyst (BMA) or comparable scientific qualification
Experience in molecular biology work, preferably in a scientific research laboratory, especially in cell culture, DNA/RNA analysis
Experience with gene expression analysis is advantageous: e.g. (PCR, sequencing, cloning), gel electrophoresis, retroviral gene transfer, RNAi and CRISPR/Cas9, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy or immunohistochemistry
High degree of diligence and reliability in supervised and independent work
Communication skills in German and English for interaction within the international working group (German level C1, English level B2)
Knowledge of electronic data processing, confident handling of common MS Office applications
Strong teamwork and social skills

What We Offer:
On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 2,958.90 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: IIIb)
