PhD Position in Model-driven Simulation and Digital Twins

We are happy to fill a PhD position on model-driven simulation and digital twin engineering for cyber-physical systems at the Department of Computer Science (research group Quality Engineering) at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. The PhD will be in the field of the model-driven engineering of Digital Twins for subsequent model-driven simulation, particularly focusing on the combination of model-driven engineering and simulation for digital twin-based monitoring, optimization, and control.

What we offer

The position is to be filled for up to 4 years at most, available from January 1st, 2025. You will be working together on an exciting and timely topic, embedded in a interdisciplianry team of researchers - together with other PhD students and senior researchers, and partners from industry.

Your profile

We are looking for highly motivated students with a background in Software/Model-driven Engineering and/or model-driven simulation, holding a Master’s degree (or equivalent). Candidates should have a command in programming and algorithmic curation.
