YOUR TASKS

* Conduct research in optimization of particle therapy (treatment planning, treatment adaptation, Monte Carlo Simulation, Image data analysis)

* Publication activities and writing of applications for external funding

* Teaching and support in administrative tasks

* Supervision of Bachelor, Master

* Support of the department head

YOUR PROFILE

* PhD in Medical Physics or similar field

* Research and clinical background in Particle Therapy or other advanced treatment modalities of radiotherapy

* Appropriate track record of publications in scientific journals as well as conference contributions

* Experience in supervision of MSc

* Good German and very good English skills, both written and spoken

* Experience in analysis of imaging data, treatment outcome modelling or artificial intelligence, Monte Carlo Simulation

*Programming skills

* Solid background knowledge of clinical processes and optimization

*Process-oriented, accurate, structured way of working with a strong ability to prioritize

*Open, resilient and flexible personality with a professional attitude
