The Division of Nutritional Sciences performs cutting-edge research on the modulatory effects of diet on health and disease, aiming to improve the quality of life of patients. We are combining fundamental and translational research efforts to find alternative therapies using preclinical models and clinical trials, elucidating novel immune mechanisms associated with nutritional compounds and the microbiome.

YOUR TASKS

* To conduct laboratory experiments (in-vitro and in vivo) using immunological/molecular methods, cell/organ culture (FACS, ELISA, PCR, WB, etc.)

* To analyse data, prepare report and scientific publications

* To present results at scientific conferences

* To prepare applications for third-party funding

YOUR PROFILE

* Completed doctoral studies in biochemistry, immunology, nutritional sciences or similar

* Experience with cell/organ cultures, immunological methods, molecular biology, microscopy and/or bioinformatics

* Willingness to establish new methods and supervise students

* Very good written and spoken English skills

* Reliable and independent way of working

* Friendly, open demeanor and ability to work in a team
