Your tasks:

- Independent research activities in the field of parallel and distributed systems (focus on cloud and edge computing) and/or artificial intelligence

- Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations

- Supervision of students incl., supervision of bachelor theses

- Collaboration on organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your profile

- Completed relevant doctoral or PhD degree programme

- Excellent knowledge of parallel and distributed systems and/or artificial intelligence

- Excellent written and spoken English skills

- Proven experience in software development (especially open source) is an advantage

- Teaching experience

- Good knowledge of German is an advantage

- Leadership skills in dealing with student employees and/or project staff

- Communication skills in the supervision of students

- Enthusiasm for university research

- Reliability

- Ability to work in a team

This position's minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) amounts to € 4.752 per month (14 times) (as of 2025).
