Master Student / Internship in Computational Cardiovascular Imaging (m/f/d)

Located at the General Hospital Vienna (AKH), one of Europe's largest hospitals, our Department of Biomedical Imaging and Image-guided Therapy (Division of Nuclear Medicine) is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated student. We are seeking a passionate individual for a Master’s thesis or internship in computational cardiovascular imaging.

The project aims to integrate real-world clinical imaging with novel machine learning methods to develop innovative approaches for the generation of imaging markers in the field of cardiovascular disease and investigate their association with relevant clinical outcomes and disease characteristics.

What you will do:

Image data processing

Machine learning modeling and validation

Exploratory data analysis

Data visualization

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a Master program related to medical informations, biomedical engineering, computer science or similar

Programming skills in Python

Basic knowledge in machine learning / data science

Interest in biomedical imaging

Ability to work independently
