We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic master thesis student who is interested to investigate the role of nuclear receptor corepressor 1 (Ncor1) in the regulation of T cell-mediated immunity. The master thesis project is embedded in a stimulating international interdisciplinary research environment. The experimental strategies to address our research interests include multi-color flow-cytometry, a variety of immunological tools, biochemical and molecular approaches, retroviral-mediated gene transduction into hematopoietic stem cells, next generation sequencing, mass spectrometry and mouse molecular genetics tools.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Special interest in immunology

• Strong motivation to engage in the project

• High reliability, great team-working skills

• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Experience in basic tissue culture techniques and molecular biology would be advantageous

Being part of an Austrian Science Fund (FWF) funded research project in an international research group that investigates the molecular regulation of T cell-mediated immunity at the Institute of Immunology, Medical University of Vienna, Lazarettgasse 19, 1090 Vienna, Austria, embedded in a stimulating interdisciplinary research environment with access to state-of-the-art technology.
