Abstract
Philological, historical and systematical research on the Buddhist epistemological tradition in its Indian (ca 5th to
13th centuries A.D.) and Tibetan (ca 9th to 20th centuries A.D.) periods to be conducted in the following team and
individual studies:
A. Editions of the Pramanasamuccayatika (critical edition of PST I, partly; correction of the diplomatic edition,
partly; edition of the Sankhya-fragments)
B. Efforts towards opening the manuscript treasures in the PR China
C. Individual studies:
1. Publikation of the Sankhya-fragments from PST I and II.
2. Reconstruction of the siddhanta-part of Pramanasamuccaya II
3. Studies in Dharmakirti`s development of the theorem of a logical nexus
4. Translation of the logical parts of the *Hetuprakarana
5. Studies on Dharmakirti`s theory of concept
