Whether a symposium, networking conference, or matchmaking event – the FWF is looking for committed researchers in FWF’s collaborative programs who would like to organize a knowledge transfer event in cooperation with the FWF. The funding is available for all thematic directions and implementation formats; the involvement of stakeholders from business, industry, and/or society in the program of the respective event is a key element. The FWF provides funding of up to €15,000 per event, with funds from the National Foundation for Research, Technology and Development; events can be held directly at a research institution or at other suitable locations. An expert jury is involved in selecting events to be funded from the event ideas submitted.
The aim of the event series is to share the knowledge gained in collaborative FWF research projects with various experts from science, business, industry, and/or society. The events are meant to build networks and create opportunities for exchange, bringing research findings to society and encouraging practical innovations and solutions.
Target group
The program is aimed at all active consortium members involved in current FWF projects (up to one year after the end of the project) from the collaborative FWF programs #ConnectingMinds, doc.funds, doc.funds.connect, Emerging Fields, Research Groups, and Special Research Areas who are planning a knowledge transfer event as part of their research topic.
