Starting at € 1,887* gross/month depending on level of education. Duration: 4-6 months start possible from June 2026 onwards

Your Responsibilities

Communicating scientific topics to the non-scientific public is one of the central tasks of the Communications team at ISTA. The internship offers the opportunity to support our creative team and to experience multimedia production at an international research institution first-hand. During your time at ISTA, you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects and with other members of the Communications Team based on the team’s needs and areas you are interested in. The main tasks of the internship include:

Graphic design and support in compliance with the institutional identity guideline

Coordination and project support for photo and video shoots (studio and on location)

Production support, ranging from location preparation, production management, supporting protagonists, recording, and postproduction

Content maintenance such as image tagging

Your Profile

Ongoing education in relevant disciplines such as video production, graphical design, photography, videography, editing

Ideally good knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing software

Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including Power Point

Very good command of written and spoken English (Institute language: English)

A flair for design and aesthetics

A curious and creative mindset as well as a highly diligent and reliable approach to any given task
