Karl Landsteiner University is embedded in a highly successful teaching and research environment at the Krems Campus as well as within the University Hospital Network of

St. Pölten, Krems, and Tulln. Through close collaboration with partner institutions in Wiener Neustadt and other strategic partners in science and research, KL pursues targeted profile development in defined areas of biomedical and biopsychosocial sciences.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

*Laboratory management, including organization and operational leadership of the laboratory

*Participation in the development and continuous improvement of SOPs and internal guidelines

*Organization and maintenance of laboratory infrastructure (maintenance and servicing of equipment, procurement, laboratory standby service, and documentation)

*Conducting safety instructions/training sessions and managing laboratory access rights for staff and guests

*Monitoring compliance with internal regulations, guidelines, and legal requirements

Close coordination with the professors, other laboratory managers, and the KL laboratory coordinator

*Participation in the overarching laboratory coordination team, with potential appointment as KL laboratory coordinator

YOUR PROFILE

*Completed Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biology, or related disciplines)

*Advanced knowledge of methods in biomedical basic research

*Good German and excellent English skills, both written and spoken

*Process-oriented, precise, and structured working style with a strong ability to prioritize

*Open-minded, resilient, and team-oriented personality with a professional attitude
