The present manuscript treats all of the drawings of the italian artist Parmigianino which are known today. The ca.
1000 sheets are not discussed in connection to the different collections but in a chronological order which has been
established by the author. In every entry are first mentioned the title, the technique and the measurements of the
drawings. After that is indicated the provenance and the literature. It follows a text which describes the function
and significance of every drawing and which gives reasons for the respetive daiting. Within the chronological
sequence the drawings are grouped following specific themes and in connection to the specific paintings. This
catalogue raisonne includes also several new attributions which are still unpublished. After the original drawings
from Parmigianino follows a group of sheets where the attribution is not certain and a group of copies after lost
drawings from the artist.
