Abstract
The objective of the project is to combine different remote sensing techniques (spectrometer,
photometer and lidar) to improve the retrieval of aerosol properties in the atmosphere. The
new synergetic method will be tested and validated together with the Polish cooperation
partner in field campaigns conducted in Innsbruck and Warsaw under various atmospheric
conditions. Aerosol properties (columnar and profiles) are important parameters for air quality
and climate models.
