In my proposed project I intend to deal with the history and written soruces of the Roman province Pannonia. One of the most important aims is to prepare a monograph (by the end of 2014) on the history of the province from the Roman conquest (age of Augustus) to Marcus Aurelius` Marcomannic wars (35 BC-166 AD) based on all kind of written sources (A history of Pannonia from the Roman conquest to outbreak of the Marcus Aurelius` Marcomannic wars (35 BC-166 AD)). Based on this earlier work and all of these sources new conclusions can be drawn on the early history of the province concerning the Roman occupation, the date of the province organization, the municipalisation and the development of the civitates peregrinae). I also wish to deal with a new summary on the relation Pannonia and the Roman world (on the knowledge of the Classical literature on Pannonia) that seems to me also very important (last summary was edited in 1936). I intend to prepare the manuscript in German. This work will be based on my source edition Fontes Pannoniae Antiquae that contain all written sources of Pannonia in Greek and Latin including several unconsidered ones (epigraphic and numismatic sources, papyri and passages of Cassical authors too). Volumes 1-6 were published that contain the period from the conquest to the end of the tetrachy. My next is aim is to do the preliminary works on the next volume of the series Fontes (volume 7) in 2013 that will contain the Greek and Latin sources of Pannonia in the age of Constantine the Great (306-337 AD). (Fontes Pannoniae Antiquae in aetate Constantini). This period under Constatine was very important in the point of view the Pannonian Christianity (spread of Arianism in Illyricum because of Arius` exile to Illyricum (Sirmium) and arise of Pannonian Arianist bishops) that must separately be studied. Pannonia had a very important role in these struggles that is why dozens of Christian authors mention the province in this period. I shall prepare a Hungarian and a German manuscript as well. Finally, I shall work as editor (and leader of the project in Hungary) on the completion of the first fascicule of the Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum III Pannonia. This volume will contain the Latin inscriptions of Aquincum and its territory with 1813. The project has begun in 2003. I must finish the entire redactorial work of this volume also in 2013 (the total revision of the preliminary manuscript of the Hungarian team) with Latin prefaces, indices and concordances. If it is necessary I must do all the corrections or minor changes. The language of the volume will be the Latin.
