Individual and general factors influence on the verbal expression of aggression The aim of this project is to study semantic, pragmalinguistic and sociolinguistic aspects of verbal aggression in everyday life of residents of mother country - city Vienna, who are representatives of three social groups, and to give answers on such important questions: reasons and functions of verbal aggression; forms of verbal aggression (aggressive verbal acts); role and part of individual, social, educational and general factors in expression and perception of verbal aggression; typology of quarrels; reflection of stereotypical ideas and value orientations in abusive words; mechanism of making neutral lexical units pejorative in context; correlation between lexical meaning and actual meaning of the word; Speech, which is social act, reflects social relations. Verbal aggression incarnates important aspect of expressive language function, which is expression of negative emotions of the speaker. Investigation of the reasons of the origin and forms of expression of verbal aggression is the first step in overcoming aggression in modern world. Thus, the project has direct tangency to social sphere of modern society. Side by side with linguistic methods of investigation, such as componential analyses, communicative analyses and pragmalinguistic analyses, one of the most important methods of empirical social investigation - intensive interview will be enabled in the frame of project. Tendency to enable methods of social disciplines is typical for modern linguistics and contributes to the objectivity of investigation.
