Handbuch der Liturgiewissenschaft

The project "Gottesdienst der Kirche. Handbuch der Liturgiewissenschaft" has been promoted in the years 1996- 2001 by the FWF, which enabled the director of the project to give specific tasks to several collaborators. Already seven volumes of the manual, which started to appear in the year 1983, have been finished; three more are in preparation. It is a work, which at the moment is unique in the whole world as far as its range, its contents, its systematic approach inspired by the theology of liturgy, its oecumenical scope and internationality are concerned. Subjects of the individual volumes are on the one hand fundamental questions for our knowledge of the liturgy, on the other hand in the first place the different religious celebrations of the Catholic Church without neglecting the Eastern Churches and the Reformation. The Work has sofar already attracted the attention of the international specialists on the field. Through the above mentioned promotion it has been possible to support the following specific tasks: für Band 4: Hans Bernhard Meyer, Eucharistie. Registerband. Regensburg 1997 (Werkauftrag Franz Bartunek). für Band 7/1: Bruno Kleinheyer, Die Feiern der Eingliederung in die Kirche. Registerband. Regensburg 1999 (Werkauftrag Franz Bartunek). für Band 2: Erstellung einer internationalen Bibliographie zum Thema "Liturgie und christliches Leben". Maschinschriftl. Manuskript 2000 (Werkauftrag Gregor W. Schöpf). für Band 6/2: Vorentwurf a) für die bibeltheologischen Abschnitte zum Stundengebet und b) zum Tagzeitengebet im Judentum. Maschinschriftl. Manuskript 2000 (Werkauftrag Margret Peek-Horn). für Band 6/2: Kanonische Psalmen- und Psalterexegese. Neuere Forschungsergebnisse im Hinblick auf ihre Relevanz für die Verwendung von Psalmen in der Tagzeitenliturgie. Maschinschriftl. Manuskript 2001 (Werkauftrag Margret Peek-Horn).
