New contributions have been added to the theory of multidimensional (basic) hypergeometric series by the project:
new identities for these series have been derived, mainly using matrix inversion techniques. While doing this work,
in parallel the packages HYP and HYPQ have been further developed, which allow the convenient handling of
these (often tedious) objects.
Moreover, (basic) hypergeometric series and the packages HYP and HYPQ have been applied to find new results
in quantum information theory, number theory and commutative algebra.
