We want to discuss the renormalization of noncommutative gauge field models (non-supersymmetric- and supersymmetric theories) in a twofold way. First, we want to investigate the renormalization procedure in noncommutative gauge field models defined by a Moyal-deformed field theory in the sense of Filk. Especially, the discussion of supersymmetric gauge field models in terms of superfields is of great interest in studying radiative corrections. In the second step we use additionally the so-called Seiberg-Witten map for the definition of gauge field theories in order to discuss renormalization. In this connection the role of field redefinitions will be discussed in the presence of radiative corrections. Also the existence of further symmetry contents allowing the application of the algebraic renormalization procedure will be investigated. The consequences of a noncommutative Lorentz-symmetry in the sense of Bichl et al. (see reference [11] of the project) will be discussed at the quantum level.
