Each year, the Parliamentary Administration invites academics from various disciplines to present and discuss their latest research on parliament-related topics. The Day of Parliamentary Research provides a platform for current developments in the field, fosters dialogue between academics and practitioners, and supports young researchers.

This year’s Day of Parliamentary Research is dedicated to the central question: “How do you feel about parliament? Analysing the role of reasoning, sensing, and emotion in democracy.” Emotions shape not only our individual experiences but also political decisions and public debates. The event highlights the importance of these phenomena and their interplay in the analysis of politics and contemporary democratic societies.
