Target group
This funding program is aimed at principal investigators and project staff of FWF projects.
Funding goals
The Peer-Reviewed Publications program offers researchers funding for the costs of peer-reviewed publications resulting from FWF projects up to three years after the end of the project.
Additional program-specific information
For the following publishers, costs will be settled directly between the FWF and the publisher until December 31, 2023 (see links for more information on individual agreements):

In the case of direct agreements, any publications indicating the FWF as the funding organization and including a project number should be recognized by the publisher during the submission process and forwarded to the FWF to ensure compliance with the Application Guidelines for Peer-Reviewed Publications. For all other publications that meet the requirements for peer-reviewed publications, authors can apply for reimbursement of the OA publication costs (PUR application).

Application information
Rolling submissions using the online application portal elane possible; this program will expire when the Open-Access Block Grant takes effect on January 1, 2024.
