Dear researchers and friends of research,

We’ve probably caught you right in the middle of analyzing, experimenting, or publishing, in short, in the middle of your research work. In these hectic days before the end of the year, we would like to take a moment to thank you all for your scientific energy and curiosity – your research findings are helping to make the world a better place.

We hope you find further inspiration, perseverance, and joy in your FWF projects in the coming year. To those of you whose applications the FWF was unfortunately unable to approve due to budgetary limitations, we wish you the best of luck for your future projects.

Here’s to a relaxing holiday season and an energetic start to the new year!

Christof Gattringer, Ursula Jakubek, Georg Kaser, Gerlinde Mautner, and Ellen Zechner (Executive Board), as well as the entire FWF staff
