Researchers, representatives of research institutions, and members of the public interested in science and sustainability are cordially invited to attend “Greening Research.” The program will kick off with a keynote lecture on climate change, held by FWF Vice-President and climate researcher Georg Kaser, with a focus on the latest findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for Austria.

One of the main events is a panel discussion on the question, “How can research organizations encourage sustainable research processes?” Moderated by FWF President Christof Gattringer, experts from various fields of research will discuss real-world options and challenges. Representatives of Science Europe and the FWF as well as other speakers will present sustainability strategies at the European and national levels.
