Invitation to the Quantum Austria Closing Forum
At the closing event, the FFG and the FWF will present the milestones achieved and take a look ahead at the long-term operation of quantum technology infrastructures as well as the establishment of quantum technology solutions in Austrian research institutions and companies. The networking event offers a further opportunity for members of the science, business, industry, and policy communities to meet and exchange thoughts and ideas at the University of Innsbruck, a globally recognized center for quantum research.
In addition to plenty of time for networking and conversation, the Quantum Austria Closing Forum will also offer insights into the achievements and infrastructure of the funded projects, keynote speeches (including Kilian Gross, European Commission – DG CNECT, and Michael Marthaler, HQS Quantum Simulations), panel discussions, and a chance to take a look inside the quantum laboratories at the University of Innsbruck and IQOQI.
Please sign up here if you would like to attend; registration is required. For details about the program, please visit the FFG event page.
Please note that this event will be held in German.
Quantum Austria
Quantum Austria is a funding initiative of the Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research, funded by the Recovery and Resilience Facility under NextGenerationEU and administered by the FFG and FWF. The initiative funded basic research and applied projects in the field of quantum technologies from 2021 to 2026. The aim was to support both basic research and the development of practical applications through to market readiness. To achieve this goal, research projects and research networks were funded and infrastructure was created that will remain available on a long-term basis for both basic research and the development of quantum solutions in and in cooperation with companies.
