Study Commissioned: Evaluation of the 1000 Ideas Program

The FWF invited bids for an evaluation of the 1000 Ideas program in May 2025. After evaluation by a jury and a decision by the FWF Executive Board, the contract was awarded to the Technopolis Group.

The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) invited bids for the evaluation of the 1000 Ideas program in May 2025. The FWF received nine bids from three countries. After evaluation by a jury and a decision by the FWF Executive Board, the €70,000 contract was awarded to the Technopolis Group. The final results are expected to be ready for publication in the second quarter of 2026. The bidding procedure was carried out in accordance with the FWF rules on the quality and transparency of evaluations, studies, and research policy services and the evaluation standards of the Austrian Platform for Research and Technology Policy Evaluation (fteval).
