European Partnership Water4All – New Call for Proposals Open Soon

In view of increasing extreme weather events due to the climate crisis, ensuring a safe supply of drinking water is becoming a key challenge worldwide. For this reason, innovative scientific approaches, models, and methods are in particularly high demand. The aim of the European Water4All partnership is to secure the water supply in the long term and to significantly advance research in the field of water management.
New strategies for the water supply
Together with the European Union and other national funding agencies, the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) will be funding projects that generate new knowledge, build capacities, and develop innovative solutions. The call for proposals is intended to help initiate systemic changes in the field of water safety and promote evidence-based decisions in politics and society. The partnership aims to develop new strategies for water management, making a sustainable contribution to a secure water supply and socio-economic development.
The current call, “Water and Health,” will open shortly and will run until November 13, 2025 for pre-proposals and until April 13, 2026 for full proposals.
